shares

Donate shares and benefit from a greater tax reduction!

By donating shares to Fondation La Clé, you will benefit from a capital gains tax exemption. If you were to sell your shares and then donate the money, you would be taxed 50% on your capital gain. Food for thought!

By choosing to donate shares, a charitable receipt will be issued for the amount of the shares’ fair market value at the time of your donation.
