The Foundation’s Challenges

Created for and by our youth, these challenges are custom-made and catered to their image. Over the past few years, the Foundation has supported them by organizing challenging events; a trek in Morocco, and the Acotango Challenge among others. These challenges encourage young people to become agents of change among their peers and to encourage involvement in the Foundation’s mission.

These activities are hugely successful. For instance, the 12-day trek through Morocco involved climbing Mount Toubkal which, at 4,167 meters, is the highest summit in North Africa. The participants, of which two were students supported by the Foundation, raised $90,000.

Benefit Event

The Foundation’s Annual Benefit Event

The object of our annual benefit event is to collect funds to support our mission targeting some 10,000 young people living in OMHM housing. The business community is strongly involved in making the event a success.

Due to the pandemic in 2020 and 2021 no events were organized. Once the situation is back to normal, we will restart our activities.

Hooked on school days

Since 2004, Hooked on School Days (HSD) has mobilized all of Québec to highlight the value of staying in school and encouraging academic success.

Over the years, HSD has become an annual opportunity to increase awareness and engagement and to highlight the importance of getting involved with young people and supporting them in their efforts to succeed.
